Repeated assertions that view Korea school as dangerous have served to legitimize discriminatory policies and reproduced the concept of the assimilation education from the prewar through the postwar era. The present policies to exclude Korean schools form the elimination of high school tuition fees and to abolish subsidies toward them have also taken over policies based on the colonialist ideology of discrimination and assimilation.
